1. Data We Collect

Recipe Clipper for Notion collects only the data that is necessary to provide the service. Data we collect includes: your account information associated with Notion, including your Notion Display Name and Email Address. This data is necessary to authenticate you and to integrate our service with Notion.

Any generated content, such as recipe pages, is stored in your Notion workspace and is not stored on our servers. We do not retain recipe URLs, names, or content that you enter. We do retain the number of recipes you have saved since account creation in order to enforce our usage limits.

Recipe Clipper uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. This data is used to improve the service and is not shared with any third parties. We do not share nor sell any of your data with any third parties.

2. Browser Extension

The Recipe Clipper browser extension reads the content of your current tab only when you actively choose to save a recipe — by clicking the extension, using its keyboard shortcut, or its right-click menu. It does not read, monitor, or collect any page content in the background or on pages you don't save.

When you save a page, the extension sends that page's address and rendered content to our servers solely to extract the recipe and create the page in your Notion workspace. As with the web app, we do not retain the URL, content, or extracted recipe on our servers.

To connect the extension, we issue a revocable access key that is stored locally in your browser and never synced across devices. You can revoke it at any time from your account settings, which immediately disconnects that device.

3. Billing and Payments

Recipe Clipper uses Polar to manage billing and payments. Polar is a payment processor and Merchant of Record (MoR) that helps us collect payments and stay tax compliant.
